The challenge

Projections to 2050 suggest the emergence of growing scarcities of natural resources for agriculture. Intensified competition for these resources could lead to their overexploitation and unsustainable use, degrading the environment and creating a destructive loop whereby resource degradation leads to ever increasing competition for the remaining available resources, triggering further degradation.

The solution

We’re scaling-up agroecological approaches, by scaling down the production units: Small villages will compose of and imitate the large network of large-scale industrial agricultural producers’
